Existing Car Alarms Removal & Replacement.

REPLACING OLD FOR NEW-If you already have a faulty Alarm System and would like it removed this will often be done free of charge providing that I'm installing a new replacement System. This is the most cost effective way of tackling the problem as you end up with a new 2 year guarantee.

FAULTY EXISTING ALARMS-Unfortunately I don't carry out repairs to non SAS installed Alarms as these can often go wrong very quickly.

REMOVAL ONLY-I can in most cases remove a faulty after fit unit (non SAS) at a reasonable cost. But I do need to be local to the work to keep the cost reasonable. Call 07782 106461 for advice.

Remote Control & Battery Replacement

Remotes: Remove Screw or Screws (Old Style) rear of remote and open carefully.

Make a mental note of the way up of each battery & remove.

Insert 2 new Lithium batteries type CR1225 Carefully replace back & screws

Note: Now check that the LED on the remote illuminates when button is depressed

If not then batteries are flat or in the wrong way round.

Changing Batteries will NOT change the unique coding also the Alarm cannot forget the remotes unless programme

Wireless PIR Battery Replacement

Remove Back & slide out the 2 Lithium Batteries

Making a mental note of the way up of each battery.

Insert 2 new Lithium batteries type CR2032 Carefully replace back

Note: Now check that the LED on the PIR flashes when front button is pressed.
