With many new vehicles being controlled by a MultiCAN processor it becomes increasingly difficult to install an effective security system when trying to protect your vehicle. Suffolk Alarms can now provide the solution using intelligent canBUS High & Low control signals that use the same codes and pulses as the vehicle to provide seamless integration and full alarm 2 to 1 Thatcham protection.
CAN Bus is a multiplexed wiring system used to connect intelligent devices such as Electronic Control (ECU's) on vehicles, allowing data to be transferred in a low-cost and reliable manner it means 'Controller Area Network' and was developed by Bosch in 1980. Most new vehicles use this system and it is becoming increasingly difficult to install after-market products without using a CANBus Interface.Using the CANBus the system with monitor all the doors and in many cases the bonnet as standard .
